All tinctures are prepared at a 1:2 ratio — one part plant to two parts organic alcohol — significantly more concentrated than the commonly used 1:5 ratio. Our botanicals are sustainably sourced from the Amazon through trusted growers and communities.

Ajo Sacha — Mansoa alliacea

The Great Cleanser. A plant of clarity, courage and spiritual protection.

Primarily known in Amazonian traditions as a plant of cleansing, strength and protection. Ajo Sacha has traditionally been worked with to clear stagnant energy, strengthen personal boundaries and cultivate confidence and resilience.

It is also one of the plants traditionally used in preparation for deeper dieta and ceremonial work — helping create a sense of clarity, discipline and readiness before beginning a more intensive relationship with the plants.

Bobinsana — Calliandra angustifolia

Doctorcita. The Heart Opener. The Dreaming Ally.

Bobinsana grows along the banks of Amazonian rivers, her roots close to the water and her delicate pink flowers reaching toward the light. In Amazonian tradition she is associated with the water world and is considered one of the most loving and approachable master plant teachers.

Traditionally worked with around grief, emotional openness and matters of the heart, Bobinsana is also strongly associated with dreams, sensitivity, intuition and emotional reflection. Her character is often described as gentle but persistent — gradually encouraging a deeper connection with one's emotional world.

Ayahuma — Couroupita guianensis

The Cannonball Tree. Guardian of the Forest.

A powerful master plant associated with grounding, strength and spiritual protection. Its spirit is traditionally described as ancient, protective and deeply rooted.

Ayahuma is worked with in Amazonian traditions when greater stability, courage and energetic protection are sought. Its immense trunk and distinctive cannonball-like fruits reflect the character traditionally attributed to the plant: grounded, enduring and difficult to shake.

It teaches that true protection does not require hardness — the strongest trees in the forest have the deepest roots.

Uchu Sanango — Tabernaemontana sananho

The Grandfather Medicine. One of the great Sanango plants.

Uchu Sanango is one of the better-known Sanango plants of the Peruvian Amazon and has a reputation as a demanding but deeply respected dieta plant.

Traditionally associated with strength, resilience, discipline and transformation, it is worked with when a person wishes to confront deeply established patterns and reconnect with a stronger sense of direction.

Its character is often described as distinctly masculine and grandfather-like — firm, uncompromising and protective.

Mother Vine — Banisteriopsis caapi

The Sacred Vine. The Backbone of Amazonian Ceremony.

Banisteriopsis caapi occupies a central place within numerous Amazonian ceremonial traditions and has been worked with for generations as a plant of introspection, emotional exploration and spiritual connection.

Outside of full ceremonial preparations, the vine is sometimes worked with independently as part of traditional plant practices and personal reflection.

Caapi naturally contains harmala alkaloids with MAO-inhibiting activity, meaning it has important medication and substance interactions. Please read the safety information below before considering use.

Remo Caspi

The Tree of Strength. Grounding, resilience and deep-rooted stability.

Remo Caspi is a respected Amazonian tree traditionally worked with as a strengthening and grounding plant. Its character is often described as firm, steady and deeply rooted — an ally for periods when greater resilience, determination and personal stability are being cultivated.

Within traditional dieta practice, Remo Caspi is associated with endurance, discipline, courage and inner strength. Rather than the softer heart-opening character of plants such as Bobinsana or Marosa, Remo Caspi represents solidity: standing firmly within yourself and developing the strength to remain centred through difficult experiences.

It is a powerful addition to the collection for those drawn toward the more grounding and strengthening side of Amazonian plant traditions.

Marosa — Pfaffia iresinoides

The Plant of Love. The Little Mother. Mamasita.

Pure spirit and remarkably unassuming — delicate flowers and slender leaves growing quietly within the Amazonian landscape.

Among Shipibo plant traditions, Marosa is regarded as a gentle and deeply feminine master plant. She is strongly associated with love, tenderness, emotional openness and reconnecting with one's own sense of worth.

Marosa is traditionally approached as a plant of the heart — particularly during periods of emotional reflection, grief or relationship work. Her character is commonly described as maternal, patient and quietly loving.

Renaquilla — Clusia rosea

The Harmony Plant. The Binder. A female master plant of unity and connection.

Renaquilla's growth provides a striking metaphor for the qualities traditionally associated with the plant. Beginning high in the forest canopy, it sends roots toward the earth and gradually intertwines with the tree supporting it.

This binding quality has become central to its traditional symbolism — joining, strengthening and reconnecting what has become separated.

Within Amazonian plant traditions, Renaquilla is associated with harmony, reconciliation, forgiveness and strengthening relationships. It is also traditionally used in preparations concerned with the body's structural tissues.

Its spirit is generally described as feminine, warm and patient — a plant concerned with bringing things back together.
